I did not change the warnings so those will continue to assume all species are grown up. Try it out!

- Mouth size for all knife fishes have been increased - they are bitey predators, likes to eat smaller fishes.

- Added Sunsun series canister filters.
- Added Aqua One Aquis 550/750/1050 filters.
- Bug fixed: After entering quantity of species and press <ENTER> (instead of "Add" button), it will replace existing quantity instead of adding them if the same species exist already in the selected list. This has been fixed.

- Total number of filters in DB has been increased to 264.

150cm is more commonly cought in the wild.
Most wels catfish are only about 1.3–1.6 m (4 ft 3 in–5 ft 3 in) long; fish longer than 2 m (6 ft 7 in) are normally extremely rare. At 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) they can weigh 15–20 kilograms (33–44 lb) and at 2.2 m (7 ft 3 in) they can weigh 65 kilograms (140 lb).

I probably went with the data in fishbase.org. I want to use size that are more common for aquariums though. Let me also do a bit more research - thanks for the info.ulli wrote:Warning: European Wels Catfish is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 192.9 inches.

looks like they go for everything maximum.
think it might be hard to find a common size in aquariums for this species.
Fishbase sometimes also give common sizes as well but I guess not for this species. Unfortunately I can't find any info on this species in planetcatfish. As you say, this species doesn't have much info on the net!ulli wrote:yea i was just reading this fishbase thingyyhbae wrote:I probably went with the data in fishbase.org. Fishbase normally has maximum sizes correct. If there have been wels catfish grown that big, that would be the maximum size, if kept long enaug in a big enaugh tank/pond.ulli wrote:Warning: European Wels Catfish is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 192.9 inches.

Like oscars, many people say maximum size is 12", but there have been recorded many 16" oscars, then 16" is the maximum size.
